Corporal Molnár (Imre Sinkovits) decides that war has ended for him and makes his getaway from his corps with all their money hidden in empty grenades. He tries to hide in a castle which is guarded by the derisive groom Albert (Tamás Major). Unfortunately the hideaway is full of other fugitive soldiers so he takes command and risks his and his comrades lives in dangerous advent...
